Dr. Carol is a clinician in various Ministry of Health Hospitals (all regions – Northen, Sabah, East Coast & Klang Valley) Selangor Head of O&G Service; Head, Department of O&G, Ampang Hospital, Selangor. She is also a researcher -participated in various research projects in Ministry of Health, Malaysia. NPMC Clinical Supervisor for Master of O&G (MOG) & MRCOG candidates; Examiner for Master in Medicine (O&G). Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) – Cervical Cancer 2nd Edition (development group), Diabetes in Pregnancy (review committee), Haemophilia (review committee), Thalassaemia (review committee), SLE (review committee), Iron Deficiency Anemia (development group).   2. Predicting Preterm Labour: Evaluation Of Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-1 As A Bedside Test (Supervisor) – principal investigator won Gold Medal for Oral Presentation at 2008 OGSM Congress.
  3. Health Outcome Research – Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in Sabah (Co-investigator) – Principal Investigator won 2nd place for Oral Presentation at 2013 OGSM Congress.
  4. Bakri postpartum balloon in the management of postpartum haemorrhage in Sabah Women's and Children's Hospital (SWACH): A Sabah Experience – this was a reference for KKM National Protocol on Uterine Tamponade in Management of PPH, 2012.
  5. A Case Series of VTE in Pregnant and Postpartum Patients in Temerloh Hospital (Co-investigator) – Principal Investigator won God Medal for Oral Presentation at 2016 OGSM Congress.
